Heart just loves to cuddle!

 

We like to say Heart smiles in her sleep. She is always just so happy!

Heart is really fitting in more and more at the house. She gets so excited when we get home that she literally jumps into the air.
She does really well in the crate. We have it in our living room, and she likes to just lay in there as long as we're in the room with her.
She never used to eat her breakfast when we first got her home, but now she eats up all her meals. She also plays more with toys now.
Heart's favorite thing to do is rub up on us and try to burrow underneath us when we sit down. She loves to be in the middle of everything. She really is such a social dog.
It's been such a joy to see Heart open up around the house. She's learning how to be a dog all over again.

Heart's First Week

Heart is doing great at our household. She was a little shy at first, not wanting to lay down at first and only pacing, but now she has gotten much more comfortable with us. She really is a people dog and loves to be around the family. She is so great on walks. The first walk we took, a bunny shot out in front of us, and I was prepared to have to stand my ground or get dragged behind her, but she didn't charge after it. She didn't even look in the direction of the bunny.
We are currently working on basic commands with Heart, as she barely even knew her mane when we first got her.
She is good with other dogs, although she gets a bit jealous of the attention my other dog gets. She likes being pet just as much, if not more than he does. She is also good with cats. She has decided that she wants my cat, Josie, to be her new playmate, although Josie wants nothing to do with that.
